Wheaten & Blue Wheaten
This breed was developed in the 1970s, feels about right for the groovy "blue" eggs they lay! This breed was created with the intention of being similar but more practical than the Araucana. As a dual purpose breed they produce enough substance to become a meat bird but most distinctly known for the beautiful eggs.
Currently our roosters are blue and hens "black based" therefore resulting chicks have a 50% chance of either color.
